The Task: The client had an n8n template they wanted to put into production. I set it up under their service account, connected all the credentials (Google Workspace, Google AI Studio), and ran through the full workflow
Challenge: Partway through, the built-in data extractor stopped working. Turned out the provider had changed their limits.
I found a replacement with the same functionality and cost
Rebuilt the relevant n8n nodes: swapping extractors usually means rethinking the architecture, not just the tool.
I tested two options; the second one had fewer glitches, handled blocking better, and pulled more detailed data.
Result: the client now saves 10+ hours a week on competitor research they were previously doing by hand.
